Records of official action, including arrest, charging, and disposition information, receive stronger access treatment than many investigative details. Still, the custodian decides what can be released from an arrest report. Ask for an estimate before chargeable work and request a written explanation if material is withheld. Keep the response with the court result so later readers can tell which office supplied each fact.
When a CBI entry shows an unknown disposition, obtain the signed Cheyenne County court order and identify the exact arrest cycle in dispute.
